Shrimp with Sun-Dried Tomato Alfredo Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 jar (15 oz.) Classico®  Sun-dried Tomato Alfredo Pasta Sauce
  • 8 oz. Fettuccine pasta
  • 1 tablespoon(s) Olive oil
  • 1 pound(s) Large, peeled and deveined, raw shrimp
  • 1 Large shallot, chopped, or about 1/4 cup
  • Convert to metric

Directions

1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and keep warm.

2. Meanwhile, heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook shrimp and shallot for 2 to 3 minutes, or until shrimp are pink, stirring occasionally. Add Pasta Sauce, and cook for 3 to 4 minutes, or until heated through, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper to taste if desired. Serve hot with cooked pasta.

TIP:
If desired, substitute Classico Sun-Dried Tomato Alfredo Pasta Sauce with Classico Four Cheese Alfredo Pasta Sauce.

I threw in a little white wine and some garlic along with the onions and shrimp and it was fantastic! Easy and fast recipe with ingredients most people have laying around made for a superb Sunday dinner. My 1.5 year old loved the fun color, too! I will make this again
