You recently changed the recipe for your Spicy Red Pepper Sauce. You had to have added sugar. I'm so disappointed! We used to love this sauce and have been using it for so many years, I can't remember not using this sauce on our spaghetti. We will not buy it anymore because of the added sugar. It completely changed the flavor, not for the better. I'm so sorry because this used to be my "go to" dinner. If you decide to change back to the old recipe, then I'll be back too.
Love this sauce our favorite for years. We add it to curries as a tomato base when we need to save time. Excellent"
Sodium upped :^(
I have to follow a low sodium diet and this was my tasty go-to sauce. My family members who are not on any special diet loved it, too. It's a big disappointment to learn that the sodium content has been upped and I can no longer use it.
Spicy Red Pepper
I "NEVER" us jar sauce, but this I try to stock up on for when I make stuffed peppers, or as a sauce over meat loaf. My family loves it. The only problem I have is it's hard to find so when I do find it I buy 5 or more jars at a time.
Disappointing change in recipe
We're so disappointed and sorry that this past year Classico changed the recipe to Spicy Red Pepper by adding so much SODIUM, now 310 mg. in 1/2 cup. It had been our go-to sauce for everything but no more, much too salty and not healthy for our family.

I love that there is no added sugar in this sauce....we use it on homemade pizza, we also love the recipes...great website.
My "go to" sauce!
I just made cannelloni smothered in this sauce. It was outstanding!
