  • 4 packages Unsliced Mozzarella cheese
  • 8 Cured Italian or Greek olives, pitted and quartered
  • 1 jar (24 oz.) Classico® Tomato and Basil Pasta Sauce
  • Italian bread


  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Grease two 9-inch pie plates with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Slice each piece of Mozzarella cheese to make 4 equal portions. With a small, sharp knife, cut a small pocket into the side of each Mozzarella slice. Gently insert 2 olive pieces into each pocket.
  3. Arrange in a single layer in the greased pie plates. Spoon pasta sauce evenly over cheese. Bake for 8 minutes or until cheese begins to melt. Serve immediately with toasted bread for dipping.
Serving Suggestion:
Serve over hot cooked penne pasta, zucchini noodles or spaghetti squash.

Special Extra:
When serving adults, flavor the sauce with vodka if desired. Add 3 Tbsp. vodka to the cooked onion mixture in skillet before adding the pasta sauce; cook until liquid is reduced by half, stirring frequently. Add pasta sauce and cream; continue as directed.
