A classic dish made easy. Serve this extraordinarily simple meal on weeknights or any night you're short on time.
1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken tenderloins, or about 8 pieces
1 jar (24 oz.) Classico® Four Cheese Pasta Sauce
8 oz. fettuccine pasta
1/4 cup seasoned dry breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 egg, lightly beaten
2 tbsp olive oil
Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and keep warm. In a small shallow dish, mix together breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese. In another small shallow dish, place the beaten egg. Dip each chicken into the egg mixture, and then into the breadcrumb mixture until evenly coated.
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Cook chicken for 3 to 4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
To serve, divide cooked pasta evenly between 4 plates and spoon warm Pasta Sauce on. Arrange chicken on top and serve immediately.
