2 packages (12 oz.) al fresco® Sweet Italian Chicken Sausage, fully cooked
16 oz. Rigatoni pasta
2 cups White onions, chopped
1 1/2 cup Fresh green bell peppers, chopped
1/2 cup Fresh grated Parmesan cheese
Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and keep warm.
Meanwhile, in a large skillet over medium high heat, brown al fresco Sweet Italian Chicken Sausage for 4 to 6 minutes, browning all sides. Remove from pan and slice, set aside. Add onion and pepper to skillet, and cook for 4 to 5 minutes, or until tender, stirring occasionally. Stir in the Classico Pasta Sauce and bring to a boil.
Cover, reduce heat to medium low and simmer for about 10 minutes, or until heated through, stirring occasionally. Add chicken sausage, stir to coat. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top and serve hot with cooked pasta.
